Scientific Collaboration

The Agricultural Health Study is funded by the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in collaboration with the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has previously played an important role in the study. The AHS encourages outside investigators to take advantage of AHS data to address new research questions or address old questions in new ways. We also encourage add-on studies that leverage the cohort for new research relevant to agricultural populations.

Summary information about the study population and data collection are provided for planning purposes along with full text copies of questionnaires from completed data collection phases. For information on add-on studies or ongoing cohort data collection, contact the PI of that add-on study or a member of the Executive Committee.
